Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. She is currently the president and controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss born in California was raised with an affluent life. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty business tycoon before becoming the owner of the Lakers. When her parents broke up in 1972, she believed they had abandoned her. As she turned 19 old she joined the family's business, serving as director of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then, she established the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She also served as head of the Great Western Forum before assuming the role of vice president for the Lakers. Her father passed away in 2013, and his control over ownership of the Lakers was passed on to Buss as well as her siblings through a family trust which gave each sibling the same vote. She assumed the office as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss runs Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles, an organization that promotes pro wrestling.
