Jillian Nellie Hennely was born on the 25th of November 1968. She is a renowned Canadian singer and actress who has made a significant contribution to American television. She was an actor in the American TV series Law & Order, where she played the role of prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh over six seasons. Hennessy's acting skills were also displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent films, she flexed both co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988, when she and her twin sister were the callgirls in Dead Ringers. She had a brief stint as a character on Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story in 1990, and then entered the world of science fiction in 1993, playing Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. The big break came at the end of 1993 after she was tapped as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. Three seasons of her character was well-loved by audiences. Parker has appeared in films and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America in which she was awarded a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Parker was also awarded an award called the Tony Award for Best Actress 2001 for her performance in the Broadway show Proof.
